About Us

Beacon Counselling and Psychotherapy Centre has qualified male and female therapists, who work to the highest standards and in accordance with the code of ethics of the Irish Association of Counsellors and Psychotherapists (IACP).

We will endeavour to match you with a therapist you are comfortable to work with and who can best satisfy your needs.

When you come to us for therapy you can expect to get from 50min to 1 hour of undivided attention from your therapist. Your therapist will arrange to see you once a week. You can withdraw at any time from this arrangement or change to another therapist if you so wish.

At BCPC we are aware that people have busy lives so we can arrange appointments to suit most people’s needs. We take appointments from 9.am to 10.pm Mon. to Fri. 9am to 6pm on Sat.

Every effort is made to ensure that all practicing therapists have the professional credentials and the necessary training to engage in their work.

However any issue arising from the therapeutic relationship between client and therapist (including Directors and Consultant Psychiatrists) remains between these parties and not with the Beacon Counselling & Psychotherapy Centre

We are conveniently located at No 20, Castlecomer Road, Kilkenny, very close to the McDonagh Shopping Centre and the Railway Station.
